OtterBox
JAM Collective was hired to introduce OtterBox’s first cooler to the outdoor industry. After a successful launch, the OtterBox team asked JAM to take over its public relations strategy for all of its consumer products including mobile phone cases, power and accessories! Keeping OtterBox’s mobile cases and accessories in the news with tech editors is always a top priority but what about expanding the reach beyond core tech and into lifestyle? JAM has created unique moments for the brand to engage with lifestyle media most notably activations and surprise & delight mailings.
Arc’teryx
JAM Collective works closely with Arc’teryx each season to identify key storytelling moments, and prioritize those opportunities as a way to solidify its place in core outdoor and grow the mind share of new audiences. These strategies require unique tactics, from seamlessly orchestrated virtual press events to individualized pitches of exclusive opportunities. The outcome is a blend of key product stories gaining traction among the core, with in-depth brand features introducing Arc’teryx to wider audiences.
Snow Peak
In more than 10 years of partnering with Snow Peak USA, we have grown with our client, as they have become an industry leader at the intersection of the outdoors, fashion and design. JAM has supported Snow Peak USA as it has launched new categories, new headquarters, new events and new experiences, telling the brand’s unique stories along the way.
prAna
After years of handling media relations in-house, JAM Collective was brought on by prAna to increase visibility of the brand among its target audience and to gain traction with new customers. Over the years, our partnership with prAna expanded beyond media relations to include a range of services from consumer facing event conception, creation, and execution to corporate and crisis communications.
Field Station
JAM Collective developed a brand launch public relations strategy to generate brand awareness, drive website traffic, and position Field Station as an everyday adventure hotel that is community-focused.
Oyster
JAM Collective built a robust launch strategy for Oyster, a new brand entering the already saturated cooler market. Through a combination of targeted one-on-one briefings, strategic seeding, a NY showroom launch, and an integrated affiliate strategy, JAM Collective generated the buzz - so much so that when Oyster Co-Founder Ian Sandmæl was racing through JFK airport carrying the Tempo, a fellow traveler called out, “Hey! Is that the cooler I have been reading so much about?!”
Glerups
As the first US agency of record for Danish brand, Glerups, JAM Collective has partnered with the brand to increase brand awareness in North America. For the 15+ years of working together, JAM has managed media relations, affiliate marketing, and experiential events.
